Designing Chefs has been in business for over 12 years serving an array of clients. Our company prides itself on providing innovative parties, the best service and scrumptious food.

We can cater your party whether it be a large corporate function, private party or a small intimate affair, our catering company will plan it, set it up, and break it down at any site you choose. We can take care of it all, leaving you to enjoy your clients or guests.

Designing Chefs has accomplished the ability to handle all of your party planning needs from setting up valet service and rentals to arranging entertainment and flowers. We have an excellent reputation for quality, reliability and service.

We are located on the campus of Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves. This move has expanded our ability to provide total client services by offering the use of the many venues on the Seminary's beautiful grounds. We can now provide space for meetings, both large and small, classrooms for lectures and training sessions, sleeping rooms for weekend retreats and expansive, manicured green space for outdoor warm weather events. A lovely chapel for your wedding and rehearsal. Schroer Commons, a majestic reception hall nestled on campus and adjacent brick patio (weather permitting) can help you achieve a unique event.

Thank you for your interest in Designing Chefs. We are looking forward to working with you.
Heidi Haller is a native St. Louisan. She attended The Culinary Institute of America, graduating in 1993.

She has worked for Kasper's in Seattle, Boulevard in San Francisco and in Klosters, Switzerland. Her desire to be with family and friends brought her back to St. Louis in 1995 where she continued her culinary training as sous chef at Cardwells at the Plaza and Executive Chef at the Crown Plaza Majestic. In 1997 Heidi started a catering company, Borrowed Butler.

Jeff R. Keil started Culinary Creations, a catering company, in 1995. After two years he saw the need to increase his knowledge in classic French cuisine and culinary techniques. He attended New England Culinary Institute, graduating in 2000.

To further his knowledge in the French classics he joined the staff at Cafe Provencal. To enhance his understanding of catering and home meal replacement he took a job with Gourmet to Go. In January 2001 he reopened Culinary Creations after many requests for his services.
Now Heidi Haller and Jeff Keil's Borrowed Butler and Culinary Creations have joined forces to create a full service catering company, "Designing Chefs". They have brought together their experience and expertise to offer their clients unique and distinctive parties.
